Meet Willie DE, a 19-year old musician from Batesville Virginia. He started his career busking on Charlottesville’s downtown mall. The heaps of bills the area’s music lovers floated his way enabled the then twelve-year-old to buy a Gibson and start a band. Willie DE blends folk, rock, jazz and blues into his original material. Lyrics show influences of Dylan and melodies traces of Van Morrison. Willie’s intricate guitar work and deep voice set the spirit mind of his audiences in perpetual motion. He has shared the stage with the following acts: North Mississippi All-stars, William Walter and Co., Trees on Fire, XPS, and many more.
